  1. 0:00-0:02 | Establishing shot of the sky, title card pop in, pan down to couple walking

  2. 0:02-0:05 | Couple walking towards camera, clones appearing behind and around them

  3. 0:06-0:08 | Side profile, low angle shot. Couple walking and lip syncing the lyrics “Don’t you notice how”

  4. 0:08-0:12 | Mask transition into library scene, couple working and talking

  5. 0:12-0:14 | Wide shot of empty library, except them

  6. 0:14-0:16 | Shot reverse shot (SRS) between girl and boy as lyrics say “Me and you and awkward silence”

  7. 0:17-0:22 | Girls face pulls away after seeing Boy, hides to the other side of the camera and lip syncs “Don’t you dare look at me that way…”

  8. 0:23-0:28 | Girl dejectedly turns face back towards camera, frontal shot of both of them at table, as she lays her head in her arms in defeat as the boy looks confused.

  9. 0:29-0:31 | Girl raises head to the sky and looks longingly, camera above her head, match cut to next shot, as it zooms away

  10. 0:31-0:36 | Low angle, wide shot of couple sitting together at bench as boy talks about “new soulmate”

  11. 0:37-0:40 | SRS closeup of the couple sitting on the bench, showing the boy talking while the girl looks upset at him, then stands up

  12. 0:40-0:46 | Time slows down as girl gets up from the bench and lip syncs the lyrics “How I wish, you’ll wake up one day”

  13. 0:47-0:49 | Girl runs towards camera on the same road as in shot #3 with past clones of boy proposing

  14. 0:49-0:51 | Girl runs into library to see them both sitting like in shot #5

  15. 0:51-0:52 | Camera zooms in to girls face as she lip syncs the rest of the chorus, match cut from library to park, where it then zooms out and she is dancing and singing.

  16. 0:52-1:03 | Montage of girl dancing in different places (park, parking lot, shakarparian, bedroom with colors)

  17. 1:09-1:14 | Girl comes back off of high, and begins to fade back into normal body at the bench.

  18. 1:15-1:38 | Montage ensues of the previous actions of previous dates and outings together (same locations as before).

  19. 1:38-1:41 | Girl back at school, head in her hands, pondering as she lip syncs “What’s a girl to do?” as she falls onto her back

  20. 1:42-1:45 | Jump tcut into bedroom, girl falls back onto bed, with blue lighting across her face as she stares to the roof longingly

  21. 1:45-1:51 | SRS of the roof covered in blue projector light, as it zooms closer to the girls face every time

  22. 1:51-1:56 | Wide shot of girl in bedroom sitting up straight in disbelief as she ponders her insanity, as she puts her hands in her face and falls on the bed in defeat again

  23. 1:56-2:01 | Zooms out of the girl's eye back to school where she is lying on the bench, lost  in thought, and she sits up to look at the boy, SRS of the girl and boy closeup

  24. 2:02-2:25 | Montage of girl lip syncing lyrics and performing (5-6 shots)

  25. 2:25-2:29 | Girl lays on the grass  blissfully looking at the sky, fade to future closeup shot  of girl, watching longingly

  26. 2:30-2:33 | SRS of boy on a date with another girl, as the girl watches from afar

  27. 2:34-2:39 | Girl gets up and walks out of frame, then fade back to girl lying on grass looking up longingly

  28. 2:40-2:49 | Cut back to the sky, as title card shows and fades to black

Since the plan was to visit a park, there were many risks I had to take into account when considering the shoot. CCR Q2

Q2. How do the elements of your production work together to create a sense of ‘branding’? My product branding was mainly based on treating the artist as the image of the brand, showcasing him in all aspects of the promotion, to make the artist more like a "household name" in the music industry, in that everyone knows his face and name even if they don't listen to him music. I also used repetition as my branding, using similar elements and typographical styles when making promotional material so that people recognize the artist's distinct style when viewing, maintaining the "Arial Bold" font throughout the social media promotional material and the digipak. Through consistent imagery and tone across several platforms and mediums, the messages and core values of the brand and artist are relayed directly to the audience.
